Arbitration. Myrna is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She has served as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and chair in a broad range of commercial disputes covering financial matters, commercial contracts, executive employment, professional services, business combinations, cyber security, technology and post-M&A disputes.

As an arbitrator, Myrna stresses party autonomy and encourages all constituents to adopt a practical, collaborative, business-minded approach to the arbitration process and the resolution of all disputes. Her motto is “while the subject matter of a dispute is by its very nature contentious, the process need not be.”

Mediation. Myrna is a trained, NY-State Part 146 certified commercial mediator.  Disputes she has mediated include matters involving asset/business sales, business divorces/buy-outs, post-M&A disputes, real estate, professional negligence, commercial contracts, securities, and high net worth family financial separations. For her mediations, Myrna leverages her 25-year experience facilitating transactions and empowering her clients and their transaction partners to agree on deal terms and close deals.

Dispute Prevention. Myrna has completed CPR’s Dispute Prevention and Relationship Management Training and the ICC Institute’s Advanced Training on Dispute Boards.  She works with business leaders involved in medium to long-term alliances to ensure the timely realization of mutually beneficial projects and objectives.  Myrna combines her business and neutral experience to assist executives in reducing the risk of disputes and dealing with conflicts that may arise when executing strategic initiatives involving two or more parties.  These may include JVs in a broad array of industries, start-up constituents and family affiliations across businesses and holdings.
