Myrna is the Founder and Managing Director of MB Corporate Advisory Partners (MBCAP), a boutique corporate and strategic growth advisory firm. As such, she has worked with domestic and international corporations, financial institutions, start-ups and investors leading on both business combinations and fundraising initiatives. Her work includes formulating inorganic growth strategies, sourcing partners and targets, structuring transactions and negotiating deal terms on behalf of her clients.

Prior to establishing MBCAP, she was a Managing Director–Corporate Development and, prior to that, Chief M&A Counsel at CIT Group. During her tenure at CIT, she was responsible for the formulation of CIT Group’s global M&A strategy.  She sourced, structured, evaluated and led deal negotiations with acquisition targets and strategic partners across CIT’s five commercial finance business units.

Myrna started her career practicing corporate law at Hughes Hubbard & Reed (1997-1998) and Sullivan & Cromwell (1998-2005) where she was a member of the Securities Group, Financial Institutions Group and M&A Group. She has advised national and foreign corporations and financial institutions on a broad range of public and private securities offerings, capital structures, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic business combinations and financings.

In 2000, at the request of client Allianz AG, Myrna agreed a 6-month leave of absence from Sullivan & Cromwell to join Allianz as interim in-house M&A counsel in Munich, Germany. During her tenure at Allianz, Myrna oversaw M&A/strategic transactions globally and recruited and trained M&A counsel for the Group.
